The Moneyview IPO opened for public subscription on September 24, 2026, bringing one of India’s digital financial-services platforms to the public market. The issue has a total size of ₹1,091.68 crore, comprising a fresh issue of ₹750 crore and an offer for sale of about ₹341.68 crore. The IPO will remain open until September 28, with allotment expected on September 29 and listing scheduled for October 1 on the NSE and BSE.

Ahead of the issue, Moneyview was reportedly commanding a grey market premium (GMP) of around 32%. While this has attracted attention, GMP is an unofficial market indicator and can change before listing. It should therefore not be interpreted as a guaranteed listing gain.

What Is Moneyview?

Moneyview is a digital financial-services platform that connects consumers with banks, NBFCs, insurers and other financial institutions. The company initially focused on personal loans but has expanded into areas including insurance, credit cards, digital gold, payments and earned wage access.

As of June 2026, the platform had approximately 14.03 crore registered users and 48 financial partners, highlighting the scale of its digital distribution network.

The company also has a significant technology focus, with more than half of its workforce engaged in technology and data-related roles as of June 30, 2026.

How Will Moneyview Use the IPO Proceeds?

A significant portion of the fresh capital is intended to support Moneyview's lending business.

Around ₹325 crore is planned for increasing loan disbursals under Default Loss Guarantee (DLG) arrangements. Another ₹250 crore is proposed to be invested in Whizdm Finance Pvt. Ltd. (WFPL), the company's material subsidiary, to strengthen its capital base. The remaining proceeds are earmarked for general corporate purposes.

This means the fresh capital is primarily directed toward expanding the company's lending capacity rather than simply providing an exit route for existing investors.

Moneyview Financial Performance

Moneyview reported significant revenue growth in FY26.

Total income increased by about 43% to ₹3,404 crore in FY26, compared with ₹2,379 crore in FY25. However, reported profit after tax increased only marginally, from approximately ₹240 crore to ₹243 crore.

The June 2026 quarter showed stronger momentum. Profit increased 159% year-on-year to ₹174 crore, while revenue from operations rose about 50% to ₹1,041 crore.

One important point for investors is that FY26 reported profitability was affected by a one-time ₹160 crore performance incentive paid to the CEO, according to Moneyview's RHP. The company said the payment was non-recurring.

What Does the 32% GMP Mean?

The grey market premium has become one of the major talking points surrounding the Moneyview IPO.

A GMP of approximately 32% indicates that unofficial grey-market transactions were reflecting a premium relative to the IPO price shortly before the issue opened. However, GMP is not an official exchange price and is not regulated like the listed market.

Market conditions, subscription demand, institutional participation and broader sentiment can all influence the actual listing price. Therefore, the reported GMP should be viewed as an indicator of current unofficial sentiment rather than a guaranteed return.

Valuation at the IPO Price

At the upper price band of ₹34, Moneyview's implied post-issue market capitalisation is approximately ₹5,984.8 crore.

An Anand Rathi research report cited by Economic Times calculated valuation metrics at the upper price band of approximately 24.7x FY26 P/E, 1.79x FY26 P/S, 2.33x FY26 P/B and 2.9x EV/EBITDA. The brokerage's views are its own and should be considered separately from the factual IPO information.

Key Factors to Watch

1. Growth in digital lending

Moneyview's expanding user base and financial-product ecosystem provide a platform for further growth. Its ability to convert users into customers across multiple financial products will remain important.

2. Credit and lending risk

As Moneyview expands its lending-related activities, investors will need to monitor asset quality, credit losses, loan growth and the performance of its lending partners.

3. Profitability

The company's revenue has grown strongly, but FY26 reported PAT was broadly flat year-on-year. Investors may therefore focus on whether the stronger June-quarter performance can translate into sustainable profitability.

4. Use of fresh capital

The deployment of ₹325 crore toward DLG-linked loan disbursals and ₹250 crore into WFPL makes capital utilisation an important area to monitor after listing.

5. GMP versus actual listing

The reported GMP may attract significant attention before listing, but the actual market debut can differ substantially from grey-market indications.

Moneyview IPO: The Bigger Picture

The Moneyview IPO reflects the continuing transition of India's digital-finance sector from private-market businesses toward publicly listed companies.

With a large registered user base, multiple financial-product offerings and an expanding lending operation, Moneyview enters the public market at a time when investors are closely watching the growth and profitability of India's fintech industry.

The key factors to track beyond the IPO excitement will be revenue growth, sustainable profitability, credit quality, capital deployment and the company's ability to scale its financial-services ecosystem efficiently.

Final Takeaway

The Moneyview IPO combines strong digital-platform scale, significant revenue growth and an expansion-focused fresh issue, while the reported 32% GMP has generated considerable market attention. At the same time, investors should distinguish between unofficial GMP expectations and the company's underlying financial performance.

The company's post-listing execution, profitability and lending-risk management will be important factors in understanding how the business develops as a public company.
